Jack Litteral, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benson Litteral, of Oil Springs,
was killed last night in Marion, Ohio.

An employee of a riding club there, he was thrown from a horse against
a tree receiving injuries that caused his death.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Oil Springs Man Killed In Ohio
Rites Held Saturday For Jack Litteral, 28

Jack Litteral, 28, died Tuesday evening, July 16, 1957 in the Marion
City Hospital, Marion Ohio.

His death was attributed to injuries received when he was thrown from
a horse against a tree.

Born February 12, 1929, he was a son of Benson and Maymie Blair
Litteral of Oil Springs.

He had been employed as a tool dresser at Oil Springs and had recently
gone to Marion where he was employed by a riding club.

Litteral had servived four years in the service.

Surviving beside his parents are three sisters, Mrs. Jack Adams of
Columbus, Ohio, and Virginia Ruth and Janet Sue Litteral, both of Oil
Springs.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 1957 form the
Oil Springs Methodist Church with H. B. Holland and John Collins as
officiating ministers.

Burial was made in the Litteral cemetery of Oil Springs.
