AGED RESIDENT PASSES MONDAY
SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. SUSAN LAVENDER
  
Mrs. Susan Castle Lavender, 94, died at her home here Monday
following an illness of several months.
  
Born July 27, 1859 in Johnson County, she was the daughter
of William and Anna Pelphrey Castle. She was a member of the
Christian Church.
  
She was preceded in death 39 years ago by her husband John
W. Lavender.
  
Surviving are one son, Eddie Lavender, city, 16
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held at the home on Frank Street today
(Wednesday) with Rev. Joseph Zavadsky officiating.
  
Burial was made in the Stafford Cemetery under the direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
