Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, 11 a.m. at the
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Margaret Jean Welch Lamb, 71, of
Palatka, Fla., who passed away Sunday, October 3 2004 at King’s
Daughters Regional Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

Mrs. Lamb was born October 17, 1932 at Whitehouse, Ky., daughter of
the late Mart and Esther Butcher Welch.

She was a retired critical care nurse with Flagler Hospital.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Lamb.

Surviving are two sons, Craig Booth of Columbus, Ohio, and Darren
Spears of Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Earletta Meade of Van
Lear, Ky., Londa Meek of Whitehouse, Ky., Darla Stroud of
Catlettsburg, Ky., and Marta Montoya of Jacksonville, Fla.; two
brothers, Mart Ray and Merlin Jay Welch; one sister, Melda Wiley;
13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The service will be officiated by Tommy Meade and Charlie Wiley,
with burial following in the Son Butcher Cemetery at Whitehouse,
Ky.

Paintsville, Ky

NOTE: On the obit of Margaret (Welch) Lamb
their was a daughters name left out her name is Lisa Shockly
of Ashland, Ky. There were seven children all together.
 I am the oldest of her children. Thank you
