IMOGENE KISH 1916-2000 Imogene Mayo Kish, 83, of Richmond, Va., died Monday Sep.18 2000 in Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond. Mrs. Kish was born Nov. 5, 1916, in Paintsville, a daughter of the late Robert Hurt and Nellie Osborne Mayo. She was a retired teacher at Sparta High School in New Jersey. She was president of American Association of University Women. Her husband, John Albert Kish, preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Valerie Mayo Kish of Rockville, Va., and Teresa Alice Hardison of St. James City, Fla.; a sister, Betty Mayo Melvin of Lexington; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Paintsville Funeral Home by the Rev. Terance Hoppenjans. Burial will be in Mayo Memorial Cemetery in Paintsville.
