JOSEPHINE KENNARD

Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for
Josephine Miller Kennard, 88, who died Saturday, Nov. 27,1999
at her Paintsville residence.
  
Mrs. Kennard was born July 23, 1911, in Magoffin County, to
the late Eugene B. and Beulah Patrick Miller. She was also
preceded in death by her husband, Alton Brooks Kennard, on
March 5, 1971; and a son, Alton Brooks Kennard Jr.
  
Surviving are one son, Robert Brooks Kennard of Kenova, West
Virginia; one daughter, Joan Kennard Rudrick of Paintsville;
one sister, Violia Miller Williams of Paintsville; and five
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Monday, November 29, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Drs. Charles Miliam and
Donnie Patrick officiating.
  
Burial was in Mayo Cemetery, Paintsville.
