GARY R. JONES
1944-2005
Gary R. Jones, 61, of Springfield, died unexpectedly Sunday, March
20, 2005.
He was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on January 17, 1944 the son of
Everett R. and Rena (Hazlett) Jones and Mabel (Tackett) Blanton.
Gary had worked as a Home remodeling contractor.
Survivors include his father of Springfield ; his mother of
Paintsville, Kentucky ; his wife, Connie (Smith) Jones ; eight
children, Carla Bunten of Springfield, Tina (Gary) Frederick of
Springfield, Tawnya Dalehite of Knoxville, Tennessee, Misty (Joe)
Wyen of Spokane, Washington, Tiffanie (Ryan) Smith of West Palm
Beach, Florida, Calissa Martin of Springfield; sister, Brenda
(John) Caudill of Paintsville; brother, Brian (Kim) Blanton of
Paintsville; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and
many friends including a special friend, Carolyn Sue Jones of
Springfield.
His mom, Rena preceded him in death in 2003.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, Springfield.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Additional services will be
held at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, Kentucky.
Burial will be in Jayne Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
