Elmon Honeycutt Dies In Indiana September 27
Elmon (Nig) Honeycutt, age 45, died September 27 at Silver Lake,
Indiana.
Born May 17, 1921 at Van Lear, he was the son of Malcom and Sylvia
Bolin Honeycutt, both of whom survive.
He was married to Anna Mae Honeycutt.
He served his country in 1941 and was also a devout member of the
Penecostal Church.
Addiional survivors include four sons, Jerry and Roger of Silver
Lake, Indiana, Wayne Morris and Jefferie, both at home, and a
daughter Phoebe Rose, also at home, and four sisters, Mrs. Arbutice
Ratilff of Mountain Home, Idaho, Mrs. Lilla Mae Preston of Flint,
Michigan, Mrs. Darlene Hall of Van Lear, and Mrs. Shirley Malone of
Columbus, Ohio.
Also surviving are five brothers. Edd of Flint, Michigan, Joe of
Hager Hill, Arlo of Wyona Lake, Indiana, Homer of Springfield, Ohio,
and PFC Malcom, Jr. of Ft. Carson, Colorado and the maternal
grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bolin of West Van Lear, and a host of
friends and family.
