Hardis Joel Hitchcock, 74, of Volga, died Saturday, March
10, 2007 at Edgewood Nursing Home, Port Clinton, Ohio.
  
Born April 3, 1932, in Johnson County, he was a son of the
late Cecil and Susie Brown Hitchcock. He was retired from
U.S. Gypsum.
  
Survivors include a son, Robbie Florina of Port Clinton; a
brother, Sardis Hitchcock of Volga, and a sister, Esther
Gail Brown of Sierra Vista, Ariz.
  
Funeral services will be noon, Thursday, March 15, at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Rev. Paul
Castle officiating.
  
Burial will be in Brown Family Cemetery, Flat Gap, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
