EUGENA HANSHAW
 1920-1998

Retired merchant Eugena Jean Hanshaw, 78, died September 26, 1998
at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan.

Mrs. Hanshaw was born July 2, 1920, in Johnson County, to the
late Joe and Mary Cantrell Jayne.

She was a member of Third Street Freewill Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband,
George Russell Hanshaw.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Piper of Canton, Michigan,
and Bonny Aaron of Madison Heights, Michigan; one brother,
Edward Tackett of Grayson; one sister, Georgene Hughes
of Springhill, Florida; and four grandchildren,
four great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 29, at
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Blair
officiating.

Burial was in Jayne Cemetery at Staffordsville.
