SARAH HAMILTON 1871-1951 DEATH CLAIMS SARAH HAMILTON Sarah Hamilton, 80, prominent Red Bush resident, died at her home at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, October 28, 1951, after an illness of nearly a year. The daughter of the late Isom and Libby Ison, she was born in Elliott County, Mar 29,1871. She had lived at Red Bush for fifty-five years and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. She was married to Ben Hamilton who preceded her in death July 12, 1948. Survivors include four children; one daughter, Prudy Hamilton, Red Bush; three sons, Estill and Isom, Red Bush, and Emery, New Richmond, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, by Rev. A.V. Bradley. Burial was in the family cemetery at Red Bush under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
