RUTH GRIM 1881-1950 Rites Held Tues. For Nippa Woman Mrs. Ruth Castle Grim, 69, died in a local hospital about 1:00 a.m., Sunday, October 1 1950. A resident of Nippa she was born in this county January 22, 1881, the daughter of Amos and Lucinda Castle. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband, Willie Grim, preceded her in death in 1937. She is survived by 7 children, Mrs. Jennie Burton, Mrs. Eunice Baker, Mrs. Lizzie Meadows, Mrs. Jilnice Scarberry, and Mrs. Gracie Music all of Nippa; two sons, Herbert, Lowmansville, and Marion of Nippa. Also surviving are two brothers, Sam B. Castle, City, and Bill Dock Castle, Nippa, and a sister Mrs. Sarah Castle, Nippa. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 3, at 11:00 a.m., at the Sycamore Schoolhouse by Revs. Millard Vanhoose and Nathan Vanhoose. The song service was by the Toms Creek Quartet.
