Rites Held Tues. For Nippa Woman

Mrs. Ruth Castle Grim, 69, died in a local hospital about
1:00 a.m., Sunday, October 1 1950.

A resident of Nippa she was born in this county January 22,
1881, the daughter of Amos and Lucinda Castle.  She was a
member of the Freewill Baptist Church.  Her husband, Willie
Grim, preceded her in death in 1937.

She is survived by 7 children, Mrs. Jennie Burton, Mrs.
Eunice Baker, Mrs. Lizzie Meadows, Mrs. Jilnice Scarberry,
and Mrs. Gracie Music all of Nippa; two sons, Herbert,
Lowmansville, and Marion of Nippa.  Also surviving are two
brothers, Sam B. Castle, City, and Bill Dock Castle, Nippa,
and a sister Mrs. Sarah Castle, Nippa.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 3, at 11:00
a.m., at the Sycamore Schoolhouse by Revs. Millard Vanhoose
and Nathan Vanhoose.

The song service was by the Toms Creek Quartet.

Burial was in the Castle Cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
