JOHN GILKERSON

John Howard Gilkerson, 73 died Sunday, July 20 1975 at
the Williamson Memorial Hospital in 
Williamson, W. Va.
  
He was the son of Joe and Fannie Gilkerson and was born
September 18 1902 in Cliftop, W. Va., at the time of his
death he was a retired miner and was affilliated
with the Church Of God.
  
He is survived by his wife Lillie Mae VanHoose Gilkerson,
three brothers, Cecil of Rainell, W. Va., Hershell of
Lookout, W. Va., and Elic of Edmund My. W. Va., and
one sister, Mildred Furry of Rainell, W. Va.
  
Richard Brewer and Louis Hall officiated at services held
Wednesday, Jul.23, at the Mouth Of Rush Freewill Baptist
Church.
  
Burial was at Clark Castle Cemetery at Nippa under the 
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
