88-Year Old Man Dies July 16 At Lowmansville
Funeral Services Held Monday For Pat Fletcher
Pat Fletcher, 88, a resident of Lowmansville for many years,
passed away at his home at 6:00a.m., Saturday, July 16 1960
after an extended illness.
The son of Noah and Elizabeth Fletcher, he was born in
Johnson County December 2, 1871. He was a farmer by
occupation.
Mr. Fletcher was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane
Castle Fletcher, who died in 1905,
Survivors include two sons, Grant and Wince Fletcher both of
Lowmansville, two half brothers, Alex Pelphrey, Galloway,
Ohio and Elzie Pelphrey, Columbus, Ohio and one sister, Mrs.
Jahaza Sparks, Ivyton, Ky.
Funeral services were conducted from the Georges Creek
United Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 1960,
with Sam Preston, Mitchell Grim and Charley Hackney as
officiating ministers.
Burial was in the Sycamore Cemetery at Nippa.
