ERNEST FANNIN 1922-1964 Ernest Fannin, 41, resident of Thelma, died Friday morning, February 7, in a local hospital following a brief illness. The son of the late William and Mary Essa Butcher Fannin, he was born in this county December 17, 1922 and had been a lifelong resident of the county. He was employed as a clerk for the C & O Railway Company and a member of Paintsville Lodge No. 381 F & AM. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elouise Scalf Fannin; a son, Daniel Ray Fannin, at home; a daughter, Anna Margaret Fannin, at home; a sister, Mrs. Neva Lee Fields, Beauty. Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday at Old Friendship Church at Williamsport with Nim Sturgill and O. I. Williams as officiating ministers. Burial was in the Butcher Cemetery at Williamsport PAINTSVILLE HEARLD WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 12 1964
