ERNEST FANNIN
1922-1964

Ernest Fannin, 41, resident of Thelma, died Friday morning,
February 7, in a local hospital following a brief illness.

The son of the late William and Mary Essa Butcher Fannin, he was
born in this county December 17, 1922 and had been a lifelong
resident of the county.

He was employed as a clerk for the C & O Railway Company and a
member of Paintsville Lodge No. 381 F & AM.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elouise Scalf Fannin; a son, Daniel
Ray Fannin, at home; a daughter, Anna Margaret Fannin, at home; a
sister, Mrs. Neva Lee Fields, Beauty.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday at Old
Friendship Church at Williamsport with Nim Sturgill and O. I.
Williams as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Butcher Cemetery at Williamsport
