Nippa Woman Passes Saturday
Services held Tuesday
for Mrs. Cora Fairchild
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Locust Grove United Baptist
Church for Mrs. Cora Castle Fairchild, 70, Nippa, Ky., who died
Saturday afternoon in a local hospital following an illness of several
weeks.
The daughter of Mose and Julia Murphy Castle, she was born March 2,
1884 in this county. She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ezar Fairchild, Lexington; John C. Fairchild,
Arlington, Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Dewey Wallace, Detroit, Mich.;
Mrs. Russell Borders, city; Mrs. Ethel Clark and Mrs. Opal Vanhoose,
Lexington; one brother, John Castle, Nippa; two sisters, Mrs. Stella
Saddler, Nippa; Mrs. Miami Castle, Flemingsburg.
Burial was made in the Fairchild Cemetery at Nippa under the direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
