LORA B.DIXON

Mrs.Lora B.Dixon, 69, former resident of west Van Lear, died in a
Lexington hospital at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, November 24.
The daughter of the late William and Mary Elizabeth May, she was
born in Floyd County June 24, 1890.
She was a member of the Riceville Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Manford Dixon; two sons Carl Dixon,
West Prestonsburg; Paul Dixon, Columbus,Ohio; five daughters,
Mrs.Overton Wiley, Wheelwright; Mrs.Ethel Woods, Auxier, Mrs.Ruth
Stratton, Ypsilanti, Michigan; Mrs.Virginia Bernard,
LaPorte,Indiana; Mrs.Lora Blanche Casebolt, Columbus,Ohio; one
brother, Bev May, Detroit,Michigan,; Mrs.Alma Picklesimer, Nolan
W.Va.; Mrs.Flora Music, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs.Marion
Neeley,Bonanza.
