Brief Illness Fatal Monday to George Daniels
  
George Daniels, 88, resident of this city died at his home at 4:00 p.m.,
Monday, May 8, after a brief illness.
  
The son of the late James and Beckie Hall Daniel, he was born in this
county, October 22, 1872, and had made his home in this city for the past
fifteen years.
  
He was a member of the United Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stella Daniels; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann
Charles, Thealka; a son, Frank Daniels, Nippa.
  
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. today at the Mouth of Rush
Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Castle as officiating minister.
  
Burial was in the Castle Cemetery at Nippa.
