MRS. SCOTT DANIEL PASSES THURSDAY
  
Two Year Illness Fatal to Johnson Countian
  
Mrs. Mary Ann Daniel, 80, life-long resident of Johnson County, died
at her home Thursday following an illness of two years.
  
Born August 14, 1872, she was the daughter of James and Rebecca Hall
Daniel.  She was a resident of Nippa at the time of her death.
  
She was married sixty years ago to Scott Daniel who survives.
  
Other survivors include three sons, Vance Daniel, Nippa, Ky., Eperson
and Sedwick Daniel, both of Springfield, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs.
Vertie Caudill, Beaver, Ohio and Mrs. Rebecca Music, Nippa; two
brothers, George Daniel, Paintsville and Frank Daniel, Nippa.
  
Funeral services were conducted at the Community Freewill Baptist
Church Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with the Revs. Don Fraley and Millard
Van Hoose officiating.
  
Interment was made in the Sycamore Cemetery at Nippa under the
direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
