ARBY J. DANIEL
1888-1963
    
Arby J. Daniel, 75, well-known resident of Kerz, died in local
hospital at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, after an illness of
several months.
  
The son of Dan and Rebecca Stapleton Daniel, he was born at Kerz,
June 9 1888, and had lived there most of his life.
  
He was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
  
Survivors include his wife, Etta Mae Daniel, whom he married April
5, 1907, at Flat Gap; four sons, Mitchell, Marshall, and Morris all
of Ashland; Bruce Daniel, Kerz; three daughters Mrs Grover Lance
and Mrs Leroy Castle of Ashland; Mrs. John Rice, Brooksville; two
brothers, Leo and Mason of Ashland.
  
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. at Kerz
  
Enterprise Baptist Church with Ellis Hamilton, Herman Ross, and
Arthur Morris as officiating ministers.  Music by the Paintsville
Quartet.
     
Burial was in the Stapleton Cemetery.
