Willie Crum, 58, Dies Friday of Heart Attack

William "Bill" Crum, 58, resident of Boons Camp, died in a local
hospital of a heart attack Friday, June 20, at 7:00 pm, after an
illness of ten years.

A lifelong resident of Boons Camp, he was born in that community
February 8, 1900, the son of John W. and Judy Ward Crum. He was a
member of the United Baptist Church and was employed as a miner.

Survivors include his widow, Sona Castle Crum; four daughters, Mrs.
Laurel Lewis, Mrs. Opal Walters and Mrs. Virgie Merrick, all of
Dayton, Ohio; Miss Veneda Crum, Boons Camp; two brothers John Crum,
West Van Lear; Milt Crum, Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Mary
Jane Meek, Boons Camp; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the home at 1:00 pm, Monday
with Leonard Walters and Elzie Banks as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Ward Cemetery at Boons Camp.
