MAYMIE CRIDER
  1880-1976
  
Mrs. Maymie Crider, 85, died Friday February 27, 1976 in the
Paintsville Hospital after a brief illness.
  
She was the daughter of the late Rev.
Burns and Jane Rice Conley. 
  
Born May 13 1880, in Johnson County. she was a resident
of Paintsville and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Grover Crider; a son, Marvin
of Middletown, Ky; a daughter, Mrs Jane Shork of
Camp Hill, Pa; a sister, Mrs. Virgie McConn of
Cincinnati,Ohio; 5 grandchildren and
9 great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday February 29, in the
First Church of God of Paintsville with Reverends
Tommy Reynolds, Lowell Webb and C.C.Hall
officiating.
  
Burial was in the Mayo Memorial Cemetery in Paintsville
with Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements.
  
Serving as pallbearers were Bernie Whitt, Gene Browning,
Marvin McFaddin, Jim Ward, Oscar Combs,
and Leon Preston.
