PERRY COLLINS 1913-1951 Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ at Odds. Ky., Saturday June 15, at 1:00 p.m., for Perry Collins, 38, who died suddenly as a result of a heart attack, at his home in Odds. He was born April 4, 1913 at Odds, Ky., the son of W. P and Callie Ward Collins, and was a member of the church of Christ and U. M. W. A. He had been employed as a miner. He is survived by his wife Dorrie Collins to whom he was married in 1940 at Prestonsburg, Ky. Also surviving are one daughter and five sons, Amanda Collins, Manford, Manuel and William, all at home: five sisters, Mrs. Victoria Pennington, Naples, Ky., Mrs. Rosa Crum, Davella; Mrs. Estella Burke, Mrs. Sadie Wells, and Mrs. Cynthia Collins, all of Odds. Hansford Collins, MN.; Ollie Collins Weeksbury, Harmon Collins W.Va., and James Collins Detroit, Mi. Rev. Leonard Webb and Rev. Herschell Short officiated at the services.
