Maxie Click Caudill, 90, of Swamp Branch, died Friday, Sept. 24, at
St. Joe Hospital, Lexington.
Born Feb. 14, 1914, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Joe and Ada Conley Click. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Caudill, in 1985; a
son, Herbert Caudill; six brothers, Elzie Click, Eugene Click,
Jerry Click, Leonard Click, Murel Click and Amos Click; and a
sister, Malta Caudill.
Survivors include two sons, Chester Caudill of Upper Sandusky,
Ohio, and Kenneth Caudill of Swamp Branch; four sisters, Okie
Conley of Carey, Ohio, Rushie Spears and Neva Jo Blanton, both of
Swamp Branch, and Mary Lee Ramey of Shelby, Ohio; four
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home, Paintsville, with Herbert Arms, and Donald Ray Caudill
officiating.
Burial was in Pete Bayes Cemetery, Swamp Branch, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
