VIRGIE CASTLE

Mrs. Virgie Saddler Castle, 64, Lowmansville, died at a local
hospital January 28,1953 following an illness of three weeks.

Born in Johnson County March 19, 1888, she was the daughter
of the late James and Serena Patrick Saddler.

Surviving are her husband, Cleve Castle, three sons,
Grover and Dekota Castle, Lowmansville and Richard Castle,
David; four daughters, Mrs. Carmel VanHoose, Sitka,
Mrs. Arthur Scarberry, Mrs. Roby Daniel, Mrs. Ella Scarberry,
all of Lowmansville, two brothers, Thomas and Millard
Saddler, both of Nippa and one sister,
Mrs. Sally McKenzie of Collista.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Toms Creek Freewill
Baptist Church with the Revs. Claude Preston and
Don Fraley officiating.

Burial was made in the Sycamore Cemetery at Nippa, under the
direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
