SHORT ILLNESS FATAL TO
MRS. JANE CASTLE
WHO EXPIRED MONDAY

An illness of one week was fatal to Mrs. Jane Castle, 67, who died
at 1:15 a.m. Monday at her home at Nippa, Kentucky.

Born in Johnson County, August 19, 1884, where she has been a
lifelong resident, Mrs. Castle was the daughter of the late James
and Rena Patrick Saddler. She was a member of the Freewill
Baptist Church.

She was married to Jakey Castle, her first husband who has been
dead about thirty years and later married to Hayes Castle who
succumbed in recent years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Davie Castle, of Nippa,
Kentucky; five sons, James M. Castle, Lenzie W. Castle, W. F.
Castle, Don Castle and Jakey Castle, Jr., all of Nippa, Kentucky;
two sisters, Mrs. Sallie McKenzie, of Middlefork, Kentucky, and
Mrs. Cleve Castle, of Lowmansville, Kentucky; and two brothers,
Tom Saddler and Millard Saddler, both of Nippa, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. yesterday at the home with
the Reverends Claude Preston, Bruce Daniel, and Don Fraley
officiating, and music was furnished by the Toms Creek Quartet.

Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
