HARD CASTLE

Hard Castle 89 died Saturday, Sep.13 1980 in a
Paintsville, Johnson Co Ky.,  Hospital.
  
Mr.Castle was a resident of River an a retired miner.
  
He was born Jul.14 1891, in Johnson County, the son of
Andy & Satarie Salyers Castle.
  
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. 
  
His wife Sarah Scarberry Castle preceded him in
death May 06 1964.
  
Surviving are seven daughters, Nola Fitch, Paintsville,
Lora Castle and Cora Ellen Castle,Nippa,
Elleda Stambaugh, Fairborn Ohio and Betty Flowers of
Toledo Ohio, a sister Sarah Castle, Paintsville.
24 grand-children 38 great grandchildren.
  
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, Sep.16, in
Tom's Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Charles
Stapleton & Willie Hayes officiating.
    
Burial was in the Clark Castle Cemetery at Nippa,Johnson
County, with the Jones Preston Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
