G.C. CASTLE
1888-1963

G.C. "Cleve" Castle 75, died Wednesday, June 12 1963 at
the home of a son, Dekota Castle, Nippa, following
an extended illness.

The son of the late Charlie and Rebecca Wiley Castle,
he was born in this county May 1 1888, and had been
a lifelong resident of the county. 

He was a retired miner and a member of the
Freewill Baptist Church.

His wife, Virgie Saddler Castle, preceded him in death
January 28 1953.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Castle, Tutor Key;
Grover Castle, Lowmansville; four daughters,
Mrs. Carmel VanHoose, Sitka; Mrs. Arthur Scarberry
and Mrs. Ellis Scarberry both of Lowmansville;
Mrs. Ruby Daniel, Springfield, Ohio; a brother,
James Castle, Cisco;

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at
the Mouth of Ruch Freewill Baptist Church with
Claude Preston, Lifus VanHoose and Don Fraley
as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the Sycamore Cemetery at Nippa.

"Clark Castle Cemetery).
