ETHEL CASTLE
Ethel W. Castle, 60 died October 7 1964, in the
New Hospital, after an illness of three years.
Born May.13 1904, at Nippa, she was the daughter of
Frank and Mollie Preston Huff.
A member of the Baptist Church, she has been a
resident of Wittensville, twenty six years.
She is survived by her husband , Corbett Castle, whom
she married November 28 1918, at Nippa.
Other survivors include five sons, Charles Douglas Castle,
Utica, Michigan, S/sgt. Earl Wateman Castle, Tucson,
Arizona, Robert Doyle Castle, Middletown, Ohio, Corbett
Nolan Castle, Dayton Ohio, Kenneth Leon Castle,
Paintsville; five daughters, Mrs. Oneida Carol Witten,
Logan West Virginia, Mrs. Mary Louise Dixon, Brookville,
Ohio, Sharon Lynne, Sandra Sue, and Donna Faye Castle all
at home. Three brothers, Elby Ray Huff, Baldwin Park
California, Harry Huff, Baldwin Park Calif, Frankie Huff,
Fairborne, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs.Eunice Crews,
English, Ind., Mrs. Edna Mae Castle,
Huntington West Virginia,
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Mouth of Rush Freewill
Church, Sunday, October 11, with the Rev. Scott Castle
and the Rev. Claude Preston officiating.
Acting as pallbearers were Everett Williams, H.W.
Stambaugh, Tom Conley, Wallace Williamson, Leroy Castle,
Vencil Meadows, and Heber Preston.
Burial was in the Sycamore Cemetery.
