DAVEY CASTLE 1896-1958 Davey Castle, 62, resident of Nippa, died in a local hospital at 5:30 Tuesday morning (Oct.07 1958) after an illness of a few hours. The son of Joseph and Bell Daniel Castle, he was born in Johnson County January 1, 1896, and had lived at Nippa most of his life where he was employed as a miner. Survivors include three sons, Odis Castle, Lowmansville; Davey Ray and Edward Eugene Castle, both of Nippa; five daughters, Dorcie Mae Daniel, Jannie Belle Grozhi, Betty Jean Ward and Eula Faye Fitzpatrick, all of Columbus, Ohio, Katherine Joyce Castle, Nippa. Also surviving are two brothers, Noah Castle, Chandlersville, Harper Castle, Urbana, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Meade, Stambaugh. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, from the Locust Grove United Baptist Church at Stambaugh with Florida Lyons and Bruce Daniel as officiating ministers.
