Funeral services were held Sunday, January 28, for Mary Burchett
Brown, 77.
  
Mrs. Brown was born October 4, 1912 in Johnson County, the daughter
of George and Ann Stambaugh Burchett. She was a member
of Stambaugh Church of Christ.
  
Surviving are her husband, Charlie "Sonbuck" Brown; four daughters,
Palty Noren, of Fairborn, Ohio, Hazel Turner, of Tutor Key, Pamela
Hitchcock, of Meally, and Linda Gregory, of Conway, South Carolina;
two brothers, Harry Burchett, of Stambaugh, and Hysell Burchett, of
Staffordsville; and nine grandchildren and four step-grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren.
  
Officiating at services in Preston Funeral Home Chapel was John
Hobson.
  
Burial was in Brown Cemetery at Volga
