Thomas Branham, 79, of Prestonsburg, died Wednesday,
April 14, 2004 at Prestonsburg Health Care Center, Prestonsburg.
  
Born June 14, 1924, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
James H. and Anna Osbourne Branham. He was a retired coal miner and
a U.S. Army veteran.
  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Poe Branham, in 2002.
  
Survivors include two sons, Thomas L. Branham of Fostoria, Ohio,
and Tim Branham of Athens, Tenn.; two daughters, Sally Williams of
Athens, and Charlotte of Flat Gap; two sisters, Mae Maynard and
Edna Nash, both of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, April 17, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville, with Denvil Mollette and Charles Banks
officiating.
  
Burial was in Branham Family Cemetery, Boons Camp, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
