For John T. Branham
John T. Branham, 83, died Monday, July 31, 1950 at his home
at Boons Camp, after an illness of three months.
He was born in Ohio, August 9, 1867, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Turner Branham. He had been a resident of Boons Camp for the
past 60 years, where he was a member of the United Baptist
Church. He was a retired farmer. His wife Martha Alice
Mollette Branham survives him.
Also surviving are four daughters and four sons, Mrs. Johnnie
Bowens, Ashland; Mrs. James Osborne, Lima, Ohio; Mrs. Harold
Butler, Lima, Ohio; Mrs. James L. Penix, Meally; Jeff,
Branchland, W. Va.; Ben and John R., both, of Boons Camp and
Warren, Odds, Ky.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August
2, at Little Friendship Church at Boons Camp, with Elders W.
Meeks, L. Walters and Herman Davis officiating.
Interment was in the Branham Cemetery under the direction of
the Preston Funeral Home.
