Daisy Poe Branham
1928-2002

FLOYD COUNTY — Daisy Poe Branham, 74, of Van Lear, died
Monday, Aug. 19, at Prestonsburg Health Care Center.

Born Jan. 8, 1928, in Floyd County, a son of the late John L.
“Buddy” and Sally McGuire Poe, she was a nurse’s aide.

She was preceded in death by a son, Walter Guy Branham; and a
brother, Joe E. Poe.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Branham; two sons,
Thomas L. Branham of Fostoria, Ohio, and Timmy Joe Branham of
Nicholasville; two daughters, Charlotte Colvin of Van Lear
and Sally E. Willams of Athens, Tenn; three brothers, John E.
Poe of Arcadia, Ohio, James Poe of Findley, Ohio, and Burl
Gene Poe of Warsaw, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Minister Andy Dillon,
Thursday, Aug. 18, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.

Burial was in Branham Cemetery, Boons Camp, under the
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
