Mrs. Nora Boyd Dies In Ohio Fri. Of Heart Attack
Services Held Monday At First Baptist Church
Mrs. Nora Boyd, 57, died Friday, November 2, in a hospital in
Gallipolis, Ohio following a heart attack. She had been making her
home with her daughter, Mrs. Keith Mitchell in Jackson, Ohio, for
the past four years.
The daughter of the Robert and Melvina Rollins Walker, she was born
in Royal, W. Va., April 4, 1899. She was the widow of Russell Boyd,
who preceded her in death November 1930.
Surviving besides her daughter are a son, Russell Boyd, Gananna,
Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Iva Mulchay, Sharonville, Ohio, and Mrs.
Edith Richmond, Sophia, W. Va.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 5,
from the First Baptist Church in this city with the Rev. M. R.
Thomason, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Mayo Cemetery under the direction of the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home.
