FRANK S. BOYD
1920-1983
  
Frank S. Boyd, 62, died December 2 1983 at Louisville
following an extended illness.
  
Born December 12 1920, in Johnson County, he was the
son of Richard and Jewell Baneroff Boyd.
    
He was a retired employee of the Louisville Police
Department, a member of First Baptist Church
and a Navy Veteran.
  
Surviving are his wife, Hazel Blanton Boyd, three sons,
Gary Boyd, Georgetown; James R. and Phillip D. Boyd
Prestonsburg; two brothers, Richard and James D. Boyd
of Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Betty Tackett,
Winder, Georgia; four grandchildren and
one great grandchild.
  
Funeral services were held December 5 in First Baptist
Church, Paintsville, with
Dr. Charles Milam officiating.
  
Burial was in Jayne Cemetery, Staffordsville, under the
direction of Jones Preston Funeral Home.
