ROY KENNETH BOWENS
1937-2006

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 9, 10 a.m. at the
Branham Cemetery at Meally, Ky., for Roy Kenneth Bowens, 68, of
Flat Gap, Ky., who passed away Saturday, March 4 2006 at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Ky.

Mr. Bowens was born Nov. 4, 1937 in Floyd County, Ky., son of Edna
Branham Bowens and the late Roy Bowens. He was a mechanic at an
auto dealership.

Surviving in addition to his mother are three sons, Jeffery Bowens
of Brickhaven, Ohio, David Bowens of Columbus, Ohio, and Troy
Bowens of Arizona; one daughter, Marilyn Wassmuth of Columbus; one
brother, Larry Bowens of Wyoming; and seven grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
