JAY BORDERS 1922-1951 Jay Borders, 29, died in a hospital in Montgomery, W. Va., Monday, August 6, following a three weeks illness. The son of the late Nathan and Lula Charles Borders, he was born in Johnson County, February 12, 1922. He had lived in Montgomery for the past year where he was employed as an auto mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Alice Price Borders; one sister, Mrs. Willa Dean Skaggs and a brother, Hubert Borders, both of Gallipolis, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted today at 10:00 a.m., at the White House church by Rev. Addie Lance. Burial was in the family cemetery at White House under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
