PEARLIE BLEVINS
1909-1982
     
Services were held Monday for Mrs. Pearlie Blevins, 73, of
Staffordsville, who succumbed Friday, October 1, 1982, following a
hear attack.
  
A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Blevins was born May 10, 1909, the
daughter of John W. and Cora Blanton Jayne. Her husband, Paris
Blevins, died in 1967.
  
She is survived by a son, Ford Blevins of Staffordsville, two
grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.  Also surviving is a
sister, Angeline Caudill, of Cable, Ohio.
  
Elder J. T. Bailey and Rev. Charles Stapleton officiated at services
in the Fishtrap United Baptist Church at Staffordsville.
  
Burial was in the Jayne Cemetery, also at Staffordsville.
  
The Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
