John Blevins, Jr. died suddenly on April 10 in his Paintsville
home.

The 63-year-old native Johnson Countian was the son of the late
John E. and Flora Mae McKenzie Blevins.

Survivors include two sons in Columbus, Ohio, Bruce and Norman
Blevins; two daughters, Bonita B. Woods of Columbus and Josephine
Coffee in Westland, Mich., and two brothers from Paintsville,
Russell and Arnold Blevins.

Also surviving are seven sisters, Mary Brooks and Sue Lively of
Sitka; Gypsie Goble and Florence Baldridge of West Van Lear, June
Davis from Catlettsburg, Birdie Blair in Hager Hill, and Mae
Maynard of Huntington, W. Va., and 17 grandchildren.

Claude Preston officiated at services held April 13 in the chapel
of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home, which cared for interment
afterward in the Persimmon Point Cemetery at Staffordsville.
