GEORGE W. BLEVINS

George W. (Darby) Blevins, age 84, died Sunday, September 11 at
3:29 p.m. at the Paintsville Clinic after a long illness.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13, at 2 p.m. at the
Chapel of Jones Home with Bruce Daniels and Scott Castle
officiating .
  
Blevins was born on May 1, 1882 at Staffordsville, a son of Lewis
and Polly Ann Meade Blevins.
  
He had resided at Paintsville for the past 80 years and was a
member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
  
His wife was the former Bertha Williams survives. They were
married in Paintsville on May 19, 1923.
  
Burial was held in Persemon Point Cemetery at Staffordsville under
direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
