EVERETT BLANTON, SR.
1898-1964
Everett Blanton, Sr., 66, retired highway employee, died suddenly
at his home at Staffordsville at 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 15.
A son of the late Elzie and Mary Smith Blanton, he was born in
Morgan County May 25, 1898, and had been a resident of
Staffordsville for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Donna Jayne Blanton; four sons,
Everett Blanton, Jr., of this city; James Blanton, Pikeville;
Mitchell Bayes, Dayton, Ohio; Paul Raymond, Tackett, Harold; a
daughter, Mrs. Betty Hampton, Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Wallace
Blanton of this city; two sisters, Ann Burke, Columbus, Ohio;
Lizzie Walker.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the
Old Union Church at Staffordsville.
Burial will be in the Jayne Cemetery at Staffordsville.
