DIXIE BLANTON

Mrs. Dixie Blanton, 71, died Saturday, Dec 27, in McCoula Hospital,
Oxford, OH.
  
Born Marc 14, 1909 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of Walter
and Sally Prichard Blanton, and was a member of the United Baptist
church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Tom Blanton; three daughters, Dorothy
Bayes, Camden, OH, Helen Blanton, Belva, WV, and Patsy Green,
Brookville, IN; a brother, James Blanton, Scott Depot, WV; two
sisters, Mrs. Ollie Conley, Staffordsville and Mrs. Mona Rooker,
Woodensville, WA; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 30, in United Baptist
Church, Oil Springs, with Elders Lonza Reed and E.M. "Buster" Blanton
officiating.
  
Burial was in Blanton Cemetery, Win, with Paintsville Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
