Reevie Blair, 69, died Saturday, October 08, 1977 in
Lexington, V.A. Hospital after an extended illness.
  
Mr. Blair was born November 26, 1907, in Johnson County.
  
He was a resident of Paintsville, a retired store clerk
at Pinky's Department Store, a member of the Paintsville
Masonic Lodge No. 381, F & A.M. and the D.A.V.
  
Surviving are his wife Marcia VanHoose Blair; two daughters,
Carolyn Sue VanHoose and Rev. Ann Blair, both of Paintsville;
three brothers, Russell Blair of Wheelright, Raymond Blair of
West Virginia, and Deward Blair of Toledo, Ohio;
three sisters, Mahala Price of Michigan, Emma King of
Paintsville and Martha Robinson of East Point
and one granddaughter.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 11 in the First
Freewill Baptist Church in Painstville with the Reverands
Irvin Castle, James K. Caudill and Lowell Webb officiating.
  
Burial was in the Mayo Cemetery in Paintsville with the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
