AUBREY BEVINS
1918-1995
Aubrey Bevins, 77, died Saturday, August 26, 1995 in an automobile
accident in Lawrence County.
Mr. Bevins was born May 24, 1918, at Georges Creek, the son of the
late Willie and Martha Castle Bevins.
He was a retired Lawrence County school bus driver and truck driver
and a member of Georges Creek United Baptist Church.
Also preceding him in death was his first wife, Alkie Lemaster
Bevins.
He was the husband of Clara Castle Bevins, who also died in the
accident.
Surviving are three daughters, Ireda Scarberry of Pataskala; Ohio,
Reneca Ann McKinster of Versailles and Carol Sue Green of
Reynoldsburg; Ohio; one brother, Gomer Bevins of Charley; one
sister, Kathleen Castle of Charley; and four grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be hell today, Wednesday, August 30, at 11
a.m. at the Georges Creek United Baptist Church, with Brothers Frank
Blevins, Ruford Blair and Carlos Preston officiating.
Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery at Blaine, with Wilson Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
