CLAUDE BALDRIDGE
1924-1971
Services were held June 20 in the Pentecostal Church of Christ for
Claude Baldridge, 46, who was drowned three days earlier at Johns
Creek in Floyd County.
He was a resident of West Van Lear. His parents were Florence
Blevins and the late Tom Baldridge.
Immediate survivors include
four brothers, Glenn Baldridge of Paintsville and Earl, John and
Robert Baldridge from West Van Lear; two sister, Edna Mae Baldridge
of West Van Lear and Eva Paye Hoenski of Detroit; Mich., and a half
brother, William Bradley Blair.
Cline Salyers served as minister.
The Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of intenment in the
Persimon Point Cemetery at Staffordsville.
