DORA BAKER 1898-1953 Mrs. Dora Grim Baker, 55, succumbed Wednesday, September 23, at a local hospital following an illness of several years. Born December 1, 1898 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of Charley and Sarah Stambaugh Grim. She was a resident of River at the time of her death. She was married February 17, 1912 at Inez to Sam Baker who survives. Surviving besides the husband are four sons, William, P.L. and Jessie Baker, all of River and Ralph Baker of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Sam Douglas, West Point, KY., Mrs George Estepp, Dayton, OH., and Miss Mary Baker of River. Funeral services were held at the Sycamore Church, Sunday with Odis Wiley and Elisha George as officiating ministers. Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
