BONNIE ARCHER

Mrs. Bonnie Archer, 45, of Paintsville, the widow of Dr. James W.
Archer, who died June 20, 1966, died late Monday night in
Prestonsburg General Hospital following a three-month illness.
  
Mrs. Archer was born September 20, 1921, in Johnson County, the
daughter of Samuel Stapleton Jr. of Ashland and the late Mabel
Oppenheimer Barney.  She was a member of the Mayo Methodist Church.
  
Surviving, in addition to her father, are a son, Jerry Archer of
Frankfort, a brother, Jerry Stapleton of Ashland, and a grandson,
James William Archer.  She was a member of the Tri-County Medical
Auxiliary and of the Ladies Golf Association of the Paintsvile
Country Club.
  
The funeral will be held Thursday at Mayo Methodist Church with Rev.
J. T. Harmon and Rev. Leslie Rogers officiating.
  
Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
