FRANK AKERS 1903-1975 Frank "Peanuts" Akers, 71 died monday, March 31 1975 in a local hospiatl. A Johnson County native, Mr. Akers was born June 22 1903, the son of the late James and Margaret Music Akers, and was affilited with the First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Robinson Akers, a stepson, Charles Donald Ballard of Naples, Italy, a daughter, Frankie Sue Akers of West Van Lear, and a step daughter, Deane Everidge, od Valley Station, Ky.; three sisters, Ruby Norman of West Van Lear, Opal Brown of Barboursville, and Sue Stevens of Flatwoods and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Jones Preston Funeral Home with the Reverend Johnnie Sammons officiating. Burial was in the Family Cemetery at Hager Hill. NOTE: This Cemetery is also known as "HAGER HILL CEMETERY
