ELOISE ADKINSON
1916-1976
     
Eloise Adkinson, 60, died Wednesday July 14 1976, in Jewish
Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness.
  
Mrs. Adkinson was born May 29 1916, in Johnson County, the
daughter of Fred and Fannie Mayo Adkinson.
  
She was a resident of Paintsville, a member of the
Mayo Methodist Church and the DAR.
  
Surviving are a son, Joseph Frederiola Henson of Kingsport, Tenn;
a brother, Marvin Adkinson of Paintsville, three sisters,
Elizabeth Holbrook, Josephine Martin and Alice Salyer, all of
Paintsville; and two grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Friday, July 16, in the Mayo
Methodist Church with Rev. Sam Glenn officiating.
  
Burial was in the Mayo Cemterey at Paintsville with
Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
