Bruce had apparently discovered a living relative (in 1972) who was living on the farm where they had stayed in 1912. He wrote: ".....however he found a relative who still attended the church, a cousin of my father a (name difficult to read) Mrs. Flo Peacock who in 1972 was still living on the flower farm "Block Farm" Fordham near Ely, Cambs. My father's people stayed with them on the night before they left for Australia in 1912 at a place in Fordham." It is my speculation that a Peacock most likely married into the Martin family (Benjamin - Bruce's grandfather - married a Mary Elizabeth Martin). A likely candidate in searching for Cambridgeshire marriages between Martin-Peacock is Harriet Peacock (this would have been older sister to Mary Elizabeth Martin).
